Rotating a terrain heightmap involves just a few simple steps.
To rotate the heightmap
In the Rollup Bar, on the Terrain tab, click Move Area.
Click Select Source.
At the bottom of Lumberyard Editor, enter the X and Y coordinates for the heightmap center, then click Lock Selection.
Click Select Target and repeat Step 3.
In Target Rotation, select a value in degrees.
